The Esperando Association was established in 2001 in Baia Mare and aims at the recovery and social integration of children and young people with neuro-psycho-motor deficiencies. With over 21 years of experience, Esperando meets anyone who needs recovery services or physical maintenance through a varied range of therapies carried out at the Esperando Recovery Center, depending on individual needs. The association has become one of the most well-known organizations working in the field of social services for people with disabilities in Maramureş, but also in Romania, and is a member of all federations, coalitions and significant umbrella organizations in Romania in the field of disability or child protection: RENINCO , Inclusion Romania, FONPC, NGOplatforMM.
The Esperando Association offers Ukrainian refugees psychological support services (cognitive-behavioral therapy, group therapy, art therapy), foreign language courses and physical recovery programs for people in need (kinesitherapy, physiotherapy, massage, etc.), but also a series of recreational and educational activities, both in nature and at the Association’s center.
