The CARE global confederation initiated its response to the refugee crisis in Ukraine in March 2022. CARE, through its long-term partner – SERA Romania Foundation and FONPC, implemented the CARE FOR UKRAINE project in Romania and the Republic of Moldova and cross-border humanitarian assistance in Ukraine. 31 local organizations are part of this humanitarian intervention.
