Bethany Social Services Foundation, established in 1994, is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged people, especially children and families, by offering social services and promoting professional practices in social assistance, as well as projects aimed at the development of volunteering . Bethany supports children with disabilities, young people in difficulty and families at high risk of abandonment by offering them therapeutic, psychological and material support, also running training programs for specialists in the field of social assistance, volunteer programs and organizing events and campaigns to bring the community closer to the Foundation causes.
Bethany is coordinating a community center in Iași for Ukrainian refugee children and their families, where it provides a wide range of services: legal and psychological counseling, painting lessons for adults, recreational and educational workshops for children of all ages, Romanian or English language classes and sports classes.
