Founded in 2005, Hands Across Romania Association is an apolitical, non-profit and non-discriminatory organization, established with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development of communities, being active also in the field of human trafficking prevention in Romania. The projects carried out by Hands Across Romania focus on social, cultural and educational services, such as the promotion of dual vocational education, the support and promotion of breastfeeding. The Association runs the Family Club center for the community of Chiajna, where workshops, classes and events are hosted alongside specialists from various fields.
Hands Across Romania offers Ukrainian refugees from Bucharest area services in the field of professional integration by organizing vocational counseling sessions, discussions about the educational path, professional retraining courses and support all the way from the consultation phase until the employment.
