Bună Ziua Copii din România (BZRO) Association was founded in 1999 on the initiative of a group of Dutch volunteers who came to Romania with the desire to help children from foster care centers and state institutions responsible for their care and upbringing. Concerned with the harmonious development of the child, strengthening the role of the family, BZRO has been constantly involved in supporting the family and preventing the separation of the child from his family, supporting the reform in social intervention and prevention services.
BZRO offers logistical support for Ukrainian refugees directly at the border: transport, accommodation, hygiene products or food, but also medical, psychological support, vocational or legal advice. They also have two centers where Ukrainian refugees remaining in Bârlad benefit from support in social integration, recreational and educational programs and activities, counseling, therapy.
