“Rădăuțiul Civic” association was established in 2017 as a natural continuation of the “Rădăuţiul Civic” initiative group, initiated in 2017 as a response to the need for civil involvement in the responsible development of the community, by stimulating active citizenship and local initiatives. Rădăuțiul Civic is involved in various projects, from social programs to civic education, identifying problems and providing solutions for better local governance.
The Rădăuțiul Civic Association team was involved both in ensuring the immediate needs of refugees entering Romania through the Siret customs and in organizing humanitarian convoys with aid sent to the population of war-affected cities in Ukraine. On the other hand, in the association’s Hub in Rădăuți, they took care of the refugees which remained in the city by organizing workshops and activities designed to ease their social integration process.
